Lead Pastor Tom & Pam Fox
Born and raised in the Keizer area, Tom is one of the planting team members of Lakepoint Community Church. He previously served as an associate pastor with two other Foursquare churches on the west coast. He calls the weekends we spend together a "relaxed, spirit filled, non-spooky experience with a wonderful mix of engaging worship and practical teaching".
Tom & Pam have been married for 30 years and have four really great children - Jimmy and his delightful wife Heather, Danny and his "golf clubs" and the twins, Annie and Alex. Reading, everything outdoors and time with the family are what he enjoys most.
Executive Assistant Rachel Taylor
Rachel's background includes Marketing and Event Planning in the corporate workplace. She came to Lakepoint as part of the original planting team and serves as Service Coordinator and Executive Assistant to Pastor Tom. Rachel appreciates the family feel and relaxed atmosphere that Lakepoint has to offer. Her passion is in outreach and serving those in the church and in the community and she hopes to take part in a missions trip sometime in the near future. She and her husband Ryan have three children - Brenden, Ashley and Jordan. Her interests include spending time with her family and friends, scrapbooking, running, and writing.
Student Ministries Director JD Groves
JD was born and raised in Keizer, the oldest of 5 children. He attended UCLA, played a little football, studied English and met his wife Annie. In 2007 they moved to Hawaii and began their vocational ministry and it was there that they were blessed with two daughters, Ellie and Claire, and a third Groves baby is on the way! JD and Annie love serving at Lakepoint because of the focus on loving God and people, being authentic and sharing Christ with the community. JD enjoys being outdoors, eating and cooking, while Annie creatively writes and takes photos. The girls love singing and dancing, especially while daddy plays his guitar.
Children's Ministry Team
Our Children's Ministry is called KidZone. At KidZone, each child is valued as a uniquely designed creation of our loving God. We welcome the opportunity to engage our kids in meaningful activities, Bible teaching and worship that will facilitate a steadily growing relationship with family, friends, community, and most importantly, Jesus.
